Coins and bars from ¼ oz to approximately 2 oz can be tested for their electrical conductivity in just a few seconds. The measurement penetrates up to 1 mm deep and even works through blister packs, capsules, or protective films. Typical counterfeit materials such as tungsten, brass, copper, or iron are reliably detected.
